Robert S. Hoofman
Robert S. Hoofman practices in the areas of bankruptcy, commercial litigation, and creditor's rights, including replevin, foreclosure and receiverships, and appeals.
Mr. Hoofman currently coordinates an informal bankruptcy creditors lunch bunch to share strategies and updates on law and procedure, has served as a speaker and prepared seminar materials on bankruptcy and foreclosure topics, has coauthored various articles concerning creditor rights, and served as a law clerk to the judges of Florida's Fifth District Court of Appeal for two years.
Mr. Hoofman received his law degree from the University of Florida, with honors, in 1979, and his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Central Florida in 1976. He is admitted to practice in all Florida courts, the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Florida, and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida. He is a member of the Florida Bar, the Central Florida Bankruptcy Law Association, the American Bankruptcy Institute, and the Orange County Bar Association.
